The County’s Environmental Management Council is an advisory board to the Board of Legislators. According to the Board Resolution that established the EMC, “Establishment by the County … of a council for environmental management is a necessary step in fostering unified action on environmental problems among local governments and among public and private agencies and organizations located within the county.” (Res. 56-71)

EMC meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 pm. Currently, the meetings are held in person; meetings are located in the 2nd-floor conference room of the Public Safety Complex, 49½ Court Street. Canton, NY.
